Board of Directors

The Board of C5•6 Technologies is currently filled by three outside directors and Dr. Mead:

Tim Konicek, Ph.D. Dr. Konicek has extensive business management experience in both large multi-national and start-up companies. Dr. Konicek is currently the Director of Venture Investments for the Clean Tech Partners, an organization jointly formed between the University of Wisconsin and the State of Wisconsin to promote investment in the area of energy technology. He has recently been CEO of OpGen, Inc., an early-stage biotechnology company. Dr. Konicek spent part of his career with S.C. Johnson & Sons, Inc., where he held management positions in product development, technology acquisition, business development and strategic marketing.

Robert Sather. Mr. Sather is a Professor Emeritus of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where he served as an administrator for 34 years. Mr. Sather is Chairman and among the founders of Ace Ethanol, LLC, one of Wisconsin’s first ethanol facilities. He also serves as Chairman for Innovative Biotechnologies, a biorefining company. He serves on other boards to include the board of the Renewable Fules Association and consults with a variety of municipalities regarding capital improvement strategies and grants.

Paul Schueller. Mr. Schueller earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is the CEO of Franklin Energy, providing strategic oversight to the firm’s business development, client relationships and the delivery of contracted services. The firm has over 200 employees in 14 offices and provides energy efficiency program implimentation services for utility companies in the midewest. He founded the Port Washington, Wisconsin based company in 1994.
